The Indian government continues to arrest youths in occupied Kashmir and in the coming days innocent Kashmiris are being arrested and tortured, on which the All Parties Hurriyat Conference expressed grave concern and termed these acts as barbaric.
According to details, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference in Occupied Kashmir has said that the brutal use of black laws like forcible arrests, Public Safety Act and Armed Forces Special Powers Act and curfew under the guise of Corona epidemic has created a terrible atmosphere in the Occupied Kashmir.
According to Kashmir Media Service, Hurriyat Conference Secretary Press Fayyaz Ahmed Butt in a statement issued in Srinagar condemned the police crackdown on Kashmiri youths in Chenab Valley and the illegal arrest of four youths from Rajouri district. The aim is to weaken the spirit of freedom of the people in these remote areas.
He reiterated the resolve of the Kashmiri people not to compromise on the struggle for independence of Kashmir despite these cruel measures.
He said that Kashmiri people were determined to continue their peaceful struggle for self-determination at all costs till its logical conclusion.
The Secretary Hurriyat Conference said that history bears witness to the bitter reality that the occupying forces have not been able to defeat any independence movement in the world and the Kashmiri people will continue their struggle for independence from Indian domination.
He called for an early resolution of the Kashmir dispute and called on the United Nations and international human rights organizations to stop mass arrests, serious human rights violations and fundamental rights by Indian occupying forces in occupied Kashmir. Take stern notice of India’s refusal and increase pressure on India to start meaningful dialogue to resolve the long-running Kashmir dispute in accordance with relevant UN Security Council resolutions.
