Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif informed the world leaders about the disaster of flood in Pakistan on the occasion of the General Assembly session.
According to the details, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said in his message on the social networking website Twitter that on the occasion of the General Assembly meeting, meetings were held with world leaders, and the world leaders were informed about the disaster of floods in Pakistan.
Shahbaz Sharif said that he highlighted the need for collective action to deal with climate change.
It should be remembered that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s series of meetings with world leaders continues on the sidelines of the ongoing UN General Assembly meeting in New York.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met US Environment Secretary John Kerry, discussed the challenges of climate change in the meeting.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif met French President Emmanuel McEwan, on this occasion bilateral relations, regional and international issues were discussed.
Apart from this, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met the President of Spain, the Chancellor of Austria and the Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern and informed them about the flood disasters.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will spend a busy day today, he will participate in the reception given by the Secretary General of the United Nations, Antonio Guterres, in honor of the heads of state and government participating in the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly. The Prime Minister will participate in the opening session of the high-level discussion of the 77th session of the United Nations General Assembly. Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will meet the Chinese and Japanese counterparts during his visit to the United States today, and will attend the dinner of the American President.
