Johnson’s emphasis on the energy and economic crisis in Britain in his “farewell speech”
In his farewell speech in front of the prime minister’s office, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson emphasized the difficult economic conditions of England and the energy crisis in Europe.
In his last speech in this position in front of 10 Downing Street and in front of hundreds of journalists, Boris Johnson, the acting Prime Minister of England, pointed out the difficult conditions of England, especially in the current situation of the energy crisis in the European Union, and said: I am sure that Liz Truss (The next Prime Minister) will do whatever it takes to overcome the energy crisis.
He claimed that the energy crisis in Britain is caused by Russia’s vicious war in Ukraine.
He emphasized that if (Vladimir) Putin thinks that he can succeed by bullying or blackmailing the British people, he is delusional.
At the same time, he pointed to the internal division of Britain and the issue of Scottish independence and said that those who want to divide the British nation will never succeed.
Supporting Liz Terrace, he added: It’s time to end politics and stand behind Liz Terrace to serve the people.
After leaving the prime minister’s building, Johnson is going to Scotland and meet the Queen of Great Britain and submit his resignation to her. After Johnson’s meeting with the queen, Liz Truss will also meet with Queen Elizabeth II in Scotland and then will be assigned to form the cabinet.
Johnson’s Foreign Minister Liz Truss was elected as the new Prime Minister of England on Monday afternoon by receiving 81,000 votes from her fellow party members.
According to the “Guardian” newspaper, due to Johnson’s resignation and to prevent the general election of the parliament, members of the ruling conservative party held elections among themselves and elected a new prime minister.
