The US foreign minister arrived in Tel Aviv to meet with Zionist officials.
According to the Palestinian media, “Anthony Blinken” the US foreign minister entered the occupied territories on Monday.
This is Blinken’s first official visit to the occupied territories since the formation of the extreme right-wing government of the Zionist regime under Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
Haaretz newspaper announced in this regard that Blinken will meet with Benjamin Netanyahu, President of the Zionist regime Isaac Herzog and his Zionist counterpart Eli Cohen.
Continuing his trip, he will go to the West Bank tomorrow, Tuesday, and meet with Mahmoud Abbas, head of the self-governing organization.
The visit of the US foreign minister to the occupied territories has taken place in the shadow of the escalation of tension in the West Bank and the possibility of an explosion in the region.
Hebrew sources announced that the main focus of Blinken’s trip to the region, including occupied Palestine, Iran, will be the issue of normalizing relations with Saudi Arabia and the Palestinian issue.
This is despite the fact that at the same time as this incident, hundreds of people protested in the Brooklyn neighborhood of New York City in condemnation of the recent barbaric attack by the Zionist regime that killed 10 people and injured a number of others.
Chanting slogans while condemning this crime, the demonstrators asked the American community to stand by the Palestinian nation and not believe the false narratives of the Zionists. They also demanded to oppose the official position of the United States regarding the developments in Palestine and support the occupying regime.
