Massive drone strike on three cities in Saudi Arabia.
A spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces warned the Saudi coalition after a recent warning that three Saudi cities had been targeted by drones.
The news comes as Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Saree recently vowed revenge in a statement referring to the escalation of attacks by the Saudi coalition.
“This tension will have serious consequences for the aggressor forces, and they must bear the consequences,” said a spokesman for the Yemeni armed forces.
However, a spokesman for the Yemeni Armed Forces has not yet issued an official statement on the details of the attacks.
On the other hand, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sanaa government, Hussein Al-Azzi, announced on his Twitter account that the aggressor countries have started a new wave of military tension and hostile actions from the ground and air against Yemen, especially Al-Hudaidah province.
The Yemeni Deputy Foreign Minister also noted at the end of his remarks that the military tension was a kind of immediate response to US orders and the hostile statements of the Yemeni authorities against the oppressed people of Yemen.
The Saudi coalition’s attacks on Yemen have intensified as the Sanaa army recently took control of large parts of the province after the sudden withdrawal of Saudi-Emirati coalition forces from al-Hudaidah province (western Yemen).
On the other hand, reports from Yemeni sources indicate that the Sanaa forces are on the verge of complete domination of Ma’rib province, and that the tribes of this province are joining the Sanaa forces one after another.
Saudi Arabia, at the head of a US-backed Arab coalition, has launched a military aggression against Yemen and imposed a land, air and sea blockade on April 26, 2015, claiming that it was trying to bring the resigned Yemeni president back to power.
The military aggression did not achieve any of the goals of the Saudi coalition and was only accompanied by the killing and wounding of tens of thousands of Yemenis, the displacement of millions, the destruction of the country’s infrastructure and the spread of famine and infectious diseases.
