Impressive letter from a Palestinian prisoner to his mother; “I brought you honey as a gift”.
The Palestinian prisoner and mastermind of the great escape from the Zionist prison “Jalboo” sent a letter to his mother and other family members through his lawyer.
Palestinian prisoner Mahmoud al-Areza, the mastermind of the large-scale escape of a group of six Palestinian prisoners from the Jalboua high-security prison, sent shocking letters to his mother through his lawyer.
According to “Arabi 21” news website, “Khaled Raslan Mohajneh”, the lawyer for the Palestinian Prisoners of War and Freedmen, who represents these prisoners, published this letter in the media. The letter, while simple, shows the long-term deprivation of prisoners and the plight of six prisoners after escaping from prison and trying to find food and continue to hide from the eyes of Zionist regime officials:
“After greetings, [my mother] tried to come and hug you before you left this world, but God decreed a different fate for us.” You are in my heart and I give you the good news that I ate figs, cactus fruit and pomegranate [during my release for a few days]. Famous (a kind of desert plant), I ate thyme. After 25 years of deprivation, I ate guava. “I had a box of honey in my pocket as a gift.”
“Greetings to my dear sisters Basmeh, Rabbi and Khatam and Saeedeh and all my brothers. I am very eager to meet them. I breathed freedom and saw that the world had changed. “I climbed the mountains of Palestine for long hours and crossed the vast plains while I knew that the ‘Arab’ plain was only a small part of the Bisan and al-Nusra plains.”
“Greetings to all my family and friends. Greetings to my niece, Asinat, whose socks I wore and with whom I passed the mountains. Greetings to Abdullah, Hadil, Yusuf, Radad’s wife, and all the family members, Sarah, Rahef, Ghada, Muhammad and all … Special greetings to Hoda, whom I am very eager to meet and I will send him all my stories and anecdotes ».
On September 6, six Palestinian prisoners escaped from a prison by digging a tunnel in the Jalbouh High Security Prison in occupied northern Palestine. From the very first hours, the Zionist regime started searching for these prisoners with hundreds of forces, and so far it has arrested four of these prisoners.
