The All Parties Hurriyat Conference in Occupied Kashmir has issued an important statement regarding Occupied Kashmir and said that India should give up its stubbornness and resolve the Kashmir issue in accordance with the UN resolutions.
According to details, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference in Occupied Kashmir has reiterated that the Kashmir dispute needs to be resolved in accordance with the relevant UN resolutions and the aspirations of Kashmiris.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the All Parties Hurriyat Conference said in a statement issued in Srinagar that the steps taken by the Indian government on August 5, 2019 were against international law and the UN Charter.
The Hurriyat Conference appealed to the international community to put pressure on the Indian government to withdraw the repeal of Articles 370 and 35A of the Indian Constitution and to stop the process of changing the population ratio in the occupied territories.
The All Parties Hurriyat Conference expressed satisfaction over the statement of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan that there would be no talks with India until it withdraws its measures on August 5, 2019.
Mir Shahid Saleem, president of the All Parties Hurriyat Conference in Jammu Province, in a statement issued in Jammu, urged the UN Secretary General and other human rights bodies to take note of India’s fascist behavior that has claimed the lives and property of Kashmiris. And the honor is in grave danger.
He said that the people of Kashmir were engaged in a legitimate struggle for the right to self-determination.
Meanwhile, the spokesperson of Tehreek-e-Wahdat-e-Islami in a statement issued in Srinagar welcomed the statement of the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan.
He said that Imran Khan has been effectively highlighting the Kashmir issue since he took over as the Prime Minister in 2018.
The spokesperson said that Jammu and Kashmir is an internationally recognized dispute and India cannot change its disputed status through unilateral measures.
He urged the world to put pressure on India to take back the steps taken on August 5, 2019 and start meaningful dialogue with Pakistan to resolve the Kashmir dispute.
