The General Directorate of Passports of Saudi Arabia announced that the number of guests of the House of God who entered the country through international crossings has reached one million and 500 thousand people.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah of Saudi Arabia has predicted that the number of pilgrims to the House of God this year will reach 2 million and 300 thousand people from more than 160 countries.
Saudi officials have announced that this year’s Hajj ceremony will be an exceptional and safe Hajj ceremony with the unprecedented preparations of the relevant institutions.
According to official statements, the number of pilgrims to the House of God during the 2022 Hajj ceremony reached 900 thousand people due to the restrictions of the Corona epidemic.
On the other hand, hundreds of thousands of pilgrims held the first Friday prayer of the Hajj season in the Haram Mosque. Pilgrims of Baitullah Al-Haram arrived early in the morning to Masjid Al-Haram and its courtyards, and after performing tawaf and prayers, they prepared to attend the magnificent Friday prayer together with pilgrims and pilgrims from different countries of the world.
The authorities of Saudi Arabia have also placed robots in Masjid al-Haram that translate the Friday prayer sermons into different languages such as English, Farsi, Pashto, Turkish, French, etc., and pilgrims can understand the meanings of the sermons.
Earlier, Sheikh Abdul Rahman Al-Sadis, the head of the affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, announced that the number of worshipers in the Friday prayer of the Grand Mosque reached one million two hundred thousand people, which is the highest number since the outbreak of the Corona virus in 2019.
