Islamabad: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan says that he does not want to join the government with the approval of the establishment.
In an interview to British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), PTI Chairman Imran Khan said that the press conference of DGISPR and DGISI was stupid. In the press conference held in the name of truth, lies and half-truths were told and things were presented out of context.
He said that it is unfortunate for the ISI chief to hold a press conference. The ISI chief never holds such a press conference. I can respond to all the statements and allegations made in the press conference, which may cause embarrassment to the army. We do not want the institution of the army to suffer.
Imran Khan said that the only purpose of the long march is to hold a free and fair election. We want a government in Pakistan that is elected by the people. They want a government that comes from elections and not from auctions.
He further said that this government has brought down the previous government by spending money, horse trading and buying people’s conscience. Their one point agenda was to end their corruption cases. There are about 11 billion rupees worth of cases against them.
Imran Khan said that regime change was planned from outside to bring the current government to power. In this regard, the cipher has come to light.
Imran Khan said that I know what the people want. I have held 55 rallies so far. Never in the history of Pakistan have such large gatherings been held. Never in history has there been such a large gathering that is going to be held in Islamabad.
