Bahrainis protest against Bahrain’s first ambassador to occupied Palestine (Israel).
Bahrainis opposed to the normalization of their country’s relations with the Zionist regime last night and protested the exchange of ambassadors between Manama and Tel Aviv.
According to the Al-Daraz website, protesters condemned the inauguration of Bahrain’s first ambassador to occupied Palestine, chanting slogans such as “Normalization of relations is treason” and “We oppose normalization.”
Khalid al-Jalahmeh, a Bahraini diplomat who was officially appointed Manama’s first ambassador to Israel by the King of Bahrain on June 29, 2021, has just taken office as Bahrain’s first ambassador to occupied Palestine.
“Sheikh Hussein al-Diyahi,” the deputy secretary general of the Al-Wefaq National-Islamic Association, wrote in a message to Khalid al-Jalahmeh: We apologize to you. Your acceptance and legitimacy is like the Zionist regime; Bahrainis do not recognize this regime until the day it disappears. Bahrain will stand by Palestine forever. “This normalization of yours is a betrayal and a disgrace.”
