Ziyad al-Nakhlah’s leadership of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad for another 4 years.
According to al-Mayadeen, some Palestinian sources announced that Ziad al-Nakhleh, the current Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement, was retained in this position last night for another four-year period.
These sources announced that Al-Nakhleh managed to become the Secretary General of the Palestine Islamic Jihad once again and take the leadership of this movement for another four-year period and the second consecutive term.
Al-Mayadeen reported that Ziyad al-Nakhleh will be re-elected in next month’s presidential elections after no other leader in the Islamic Jihad Movement has announced his candidacy.
Ziad al-Nakhleh became the Secretary General of Islamic Jihad in Palestine for the first time in 2018 after Ramadan Abdullah Shalah.
