Zionists attack Al-Aqsa Mosque on the pretext of the anniversary of the occupation of Palestine.
Zionist settlers went to Al-Aqsa Mosque today (Thursday) to celebrate the anniversary of the establishment of the interim Zionist regime, according to previous calls.
Groups of Zionist settlers this week called on the Zionists to go to Al-Aqsa Mosque tomorrow on the occasion of what is called “Independence Day” (the anniversary of the occupation of Palestine).
The Zionist regime today opened the “Bab al-Magharebeh” of Al-Aqsa Mosque for this purpose, and groups of Zionist settlers entered Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The media reported clashes between Palestinians inside Al-Aqsa Mosque and Israeli forces, claiming that Israeli forces fired plastic bullets at Palestinians.
According to Rai Al-Youm, the movement said in a statement that it would oppose Zionist aggression against Jerusalem, Jenin and all other provinces by all means available and guaranteed by international law.
Fatah called on the Palestinians to pray in Al-Aqsa Mosque and to raise the Palestinian flag in its courtyards, thus resisting the widespread attack by the settlers.
The Al-Qabli prayer hall in Al-Aqsa Mosque is also tense and witnesses clashes between Zionists and Palestinians.
On the other hand, the Hebrew media reported last night (Wednesday night) that the Israeli army had deployed iron dome systems around Jerusalem and Tel Aviv.
Moments after the report was released, Israeli Channel 14 television reported that Tel Aviv security agencies had taken today’s warning from Palestinian resistance groups seriously. Yesterday, Palestinian resistance groups each warned the Zionist regime in desperate statements about the desecration of Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) warned in a statement: “Allowing the occupying Zionist authorities [regime] to allow the settlers to enter the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Mosque tomorrow (Thursday) is a game of fire and tensions in the region.” “It means that [the occupying regime] will be fully responsible for it.”
The Islamic Jihad movement also warned in a harsh statement about any possible action by the settlers and emphasized: “We consider the call to enter Al-Aqsa Mosque as a war against our nation and our saints. “We will not fail to defend [Al-Aqsa Mosque and Qudsman at any cost.”
