Zionist media reported on Monday night that some medical personnel had gathered in front of the residence of the regime’s Minister of Health.
According to the Jerusalem Post, about 500 medical personnel burned their robes in front of the home of Israeli Health Minister Nietzsche Horowitz in Tel Aviv in protest of their work schedule and long working hours. Under the current schedule, trainees work at least 26 hours a day.
Recently, a three-hour strike by hundreds of thousands of public sector workers in occupied Palestine paralyzed the regime’s economy. Government employees are demanding higher salaries to offset rising inflation. Employees of the railway, aviation, and radio and television departments were among those who resigned.
The Zionist organization Latte, which works to reduce poverty in the regime and provide assistance to those in need, also recently announced that a quarter of the population of occupied Palestine, or about 1.942 million people, feel food insecure, and 942 thousand of them. They are practically suffering from severe food insecurity.
According to the report, 292,000 families have severe food insecurity and 341,000 families in occupied Palestine have mild food insecurity. The institution emphasized that one third of the young people, ie 774 thousand people, are among them, of which 402 thousand people are in a dangerous situation and 372 thousand people are in a non-dangerous situation.
According to the report, the one-and-a-half-year corona outbreak has exacerbated food insecurity among many families in occupied Palestine, who are no longer able to meet their basic needs.
The Latte Institute refuted some optimistic predictions about the return of economic facilities to normal, stressing that the impact of the corona outbreak is still felt in many families.
The continuation of the current situation will cause many families to exceed their essential needs for a good life, the organization warned.
