A Hebrew-language television channel revealed a secret visit by an Israeli security officials to the Jordanian capital, Amman, to control Palestinian movements.
Zionist Channel 11 reported on Tuesday evening that a high-ranking security official of the regime had traveled to Amman, the capital of Jordan, to meet with Jordanian officials and then return to Israel.
According to the Arab 48 website, the trip took place in the shadow of the escalating tensions and clashes in Jerusalem and lasted for several hours, so that a Zionist official or a regime army light plane went to Jordan and after attending an Iftar party with Jordanian officials.
The Hebrew-language network did not provide details of the content of the meetings and only said that it was done to reduce tensions between the two sides. But according to Arab 48, the short trip comes at a time when tensions in Jerusalem have risen since the beginning of Ramadan, along with recent political tensions between Amman and Tel Aviv.
Last March, when Jordanian Crown Prince Hussein bin Abdullah was about to visit Al-Aqsa Mosque, he was stopped by Zionist officials, which led to political tensions between the two sides, after which Jordan did not allow Netanyahu’s plane to cross the border. He did not fly to the UAE.
