Zelensky: The war in Ukraine will end next year.
In a new statement, the president of Ukraine said that the war in Ukraine will end next year.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in a video message to the analytical-news website Politico that the war in Ukraine will end next year.
In this message, in connection with the estimation of the end of the war in Ukraine, he said: “I believe that the people of Ukraine will be the most influential next year, of course, when peace is established.”
On February 24 (5th March 1400), Russia started a military operation in Ukraine, and Russian President Vladimir Putin declared the purpose of this operation “to protect the people who were subjected to the bullying and genocide of the Kiev regime for eight years.” .
In line with the implementation of the aforementioned goal, Putin announced that he is seeking to “disarm and de-Nazify Ukraine” and try all war criminals who are responsible for “bloody crimes against civilians” in Donbass.
According to the Russian Defense Ministry, the armed forces are only attacking Ukrainian military infrastructure and forces, and since March 25, they have completed the main tasks of the first stage and significantly reduced Ukraine’s combat potential.
According to senior Russian officials, the ultimate goal of Russia’s military operation is to “liberate Donbass and create conditions that guarantee Russia’s own security.”
Meanwhile, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has warned that while the West is pumping more long-range weapons into Ukraine, the geographic goals of Russia’s military operations will go far beyond the current line.
