Zelensky showed his true face; “Sanction all Russian people”
Accusing the entire population of Russia of supporting the military operation in Donbass, the President of Ukraine asked Western governments to ban all Russians from entering their countries.
Despite Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky’s efforts to unite the Russian people with Kiev against Moscow’s special military operations in the Donbas region, he has finally shown his true colors.
On Tuesday morning, Zelensky asked the West to sanction not only the Moscow government, but also the entire Russian people because, according to him, they support the war against Ukraine.
In an interview with the “Washington Post” newspaper, he said that Western governments should ban all Russians from entering their countries for a year as a retaliatory measure against Russian special operations.
The Washington Post called Zelensky’s request “the most important sanctions” against Russia since the start of the war with Ukraine and quoted him as saying: “Russians should live in their own world until they change their philosophy.”
The President of Ukraine also requested to extend this measure to Russian citizens who have left the country.
Zelensky, who spoke Russian in the videos of the early days of the war and wished to stop the crushing attacks on his country’s military infrastructure, claimed: “Whatever the Russians are, let them stay in Russia.”
According to this interview, he claimed that the entire Russian population is responsible for the Kremlin’s special military operation in Donbass.
The president of Ukraine, meanwhile, introduced all the Russians as supporters of the war with his country and called for a boycott of all of them, who previously claimed in repeated speeches that the Russian people are launching anti-government demonstrations to stop the operation in Donbass.
A few days ago, Mykhailo Podoliak, adviser to the President of Ukraine, stated that if Moscow wants to talk, the ball is in their court, and called a ceasefire and the withdrawal of Russian troops as a condition for negotiations with this country.
