YouTube again blocked user accounts related to Yemen’s Ansarullah.
According to al-Masira, after a few days of the closure of 18 channels affiliated with Yemen’s Ansarullah forces on YouTube, the officials of this company closed the user accounts belonging to Al-Furqan network and Fikra Institute as well as al-Masira network for political reasons.
Fikra Institute issued a statement and announced that the blocking of its YouTube account is an arbitrary action and once again shows that this company follows double standards for censoring news related to Yemen and the oppression of the people of this country.
Al-Furqan Network also emphasized that the arbitrary action of YouTube shows the double standards of the officials of this company and its support for the aggressor Saudi-American coalition.
YouTube company also tried to block the network of three offices of al-Masira in Dhamar province after a few hours of blocking the user accounts of Al-Furqan network and Institute of Thought.
A few weeks ago, the Yemen War News Information Department had announced that YouTube had closed 18 channels of this department and Yemen’s Ansarullah Movement, as well as the technical production and documentation departments related to the country’s martyrs.
In the statement issued by this department, it is stated that closing the mentioned networks is an arbitrary and terrorist act, which once again validates the hostile intent of the aggressor Saudi-Emirati coalition against Yemen.
In this statement, it is emphasized: The Saudi coalition seeks to control the sources of information in order to use these sources in the service of its colonial project in Yemen. The actions of the YouTube company once again showed the falseness of the slogans of freedom of expression in Western countries.
The number of users of networks closed by YouTube reaches more than 500 thousand people. These networks include more than seven thousand videos, which have been viewed 90 million times.
