Yemen’s second warning message: Sana’a can hit any part of the aggressor countries with missiles.
While recalling the first warning message about a weapon against naval targets, the head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council emphasized, that the second message to the Saudi coalition is that Sana’a is capable of targeting any point in the aggressor countries with missiles.
Mehdi Al-Mashat, head of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, warned the aggressor countries during his speech in Hodeidah province (western Yemen) on Sunday evening.
According to the report of the official news agency of Yemen (Sabah), Mehdi Al-Mashat said: “Last year, it was announced that the Yemeni navy has a weapon that can hit any point in the sea from any region in Yemen. It was a deterrent message for the invading forces. Now I am giving a second message about the earth. It seems that you want to test our missile power.
The head of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council added: “Yemen’s missile unit is capable of hitting any target in any of the cities of the aggressor countries from any point in Yemen and not from a specific region.”
This warning was broadcast while Sayyed Abdul Malik Badr al-Din al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah, emphasized last month: “The aggressor coalition still insists on continuing our siege and occupying large parts of our country and dividing it. We have to deal with it as a real necessity.”
There has been a ceasefire in Yemen for more than a year. Saudi Arabia, at the head of an Arab coalition and supported by the United States, from April 6, 2014, with the claim of trying to return the resigned president of Yemen to power, carried out military aggression against Yemen and blockaded the country by land, air, and sea.
The Saudi coalition still hasn’t fulfilled all the conditions of the National Salvation Government of Yemen, so the ceasefire will be temporarily extended in Yemen with the mediation of the United Nations and Oman.
“Mohammed Abdul Salam”, the head of the negotiating board of the National Salvation Government of Yemen, had previously announced that the cessation of aggression, the complete lifting of the blockade of Yemen, the payment of all employees’ salaries, the withdrawal of foreign forces, the payment of compensation and the reconstruction of Yemen are the most important demands of this country for the extension of the ceasefire with the Saudi coalition.
