Yemeni Minister: The United Nations is run by Arab money and US decisions.
The Yemeni Minister of Information, while sharply criticizing the UN, stressed that the UN is governed by the money of Arab countries and US decisions.
Yemeni Information Minister Zaifullah al-Shami stressed Tuesday afternoon that the siege and boycott of the Yemeni people is due to the fact that the aggressor coalition countries have not been able to achieve any field victory.
“Our nation is in trouble because of the lack of oil ships entering the port of Al-Hudaidah,” al-Shami told Al-Masira news network; “However, these ships have also obtained UN permits.”
He continued: “If a consignment of gasoline enters through the port of Al-Hudaidah, a gallon of gasoline can reach consumers in Sanaa and other cities for about 9,900 rials. “While now it costs 15,500 rials because it is imported through traders who are allies of the aggressor coalition countries.”
The Yemeni minister noted that the enemy is trying to make the Yemeni people tired of the Sanaa government, noting that the large-scale demonstrations yesterday showed that the Yemeni people support the Yemeni leaders.
“Our nation sent a clear message that they will not die of starvation and siege, and that they will work to confront the aggressor who wants to eliminate them by siege and bombing,” al-Shami said.
Emphasizing that the United Nations has turned a blind eye to the siege, killing and boycotting of the Yemeni people, the Yemeni Minister of Information said: “When the situation in the coalition becomes critical and our forces achieve field victories or attacks deep into the enemy, “The United Nations is holding a meeting and dialogue.”
“We know that they (the UN officials) are governed by the money [of the Arab Gulf states] and the decision of the United States,” he said, noting that the Yemeni people do not take into account the UN and its political actions. .
Al-Shami also stressed yesterday that opening the account of the option of starving the Yemeni nation and its siege will fail, and that this nation will not sit idly by in the face of attacks and siege.
Emphasizing the victory of the Yemeni armed forces, he said: “Our nation does not accept to die of starvation and siege and has many options to defeat the siege.”
