Yemeni media: The United Nations is trying to cover up the horrific Saudi crime in Saada.
A Yemeni website considered the recent statements of the UN envoy to be an attempt by this organization to cover up the recent crime committed by the Saudi coalition in northern Yemen.
At the same time as the Saudi coalition’s crime in Saada (Northern Yemen), Hans Grundberg, the UN envoy to Yemen, claimed in his report to the Security Council that the number of Yemeni civilian casualties has decreased during the ceasefire period.
In response to these statements, the “Al-Khobar Al-Alimani” website wrote that Grundberg’s words opened up the accusations against the United Nations of trying to cover up the coalition’s crimes.
Two days ago (Sunday), Saudi Arabia’s border guard forces killed and wounded 17 people in a new attack in Saada, continuing the violation of humanitarian and military ceasefire.
The Yemeni news agency Saba reported that the condition of most of the wounded is critical and they were transferred to Razeh Hospital in the west of Saada province in the north of Yemen.
In this regard, “Mohammed Abdul Salam”, the head of the negotiating committee of the National Salvation Government of Yemen, wrote on Twitter that the martyrdom of several people in the bombing of the border areas by Saudi is a major violation of the ceasefire.
He continued, since the beginning of the ceasefire, the Saudi coalition has prevented any aircraft from entering Sana’a and is throwing stones in the process of the entry of ships carrying fuel to the port of Al-Hodeidah.
Abdul Salam emphasized that the delay in the arrival of ships and their detention at sea leads to an increase in costs.
The ceasefire in Yemen, which started on April 13 in the hope of ending the conflicts and ending the seven-year siege, was extended again on June 12 due to repeated violations by the aggressor coalition.
