Yemeni National Salvation Government’s Defense Minister stressed in Sanaa if the Saudi coalition wants to continue its stupidity in form of aggression against Yemen, a strategy called “Great Ailment” will be implemented.
According to Fars News Agency’s International Group, “Mohammad Nasser Al-Atefi”, the Minister of Defense of the Yemeni National Salvation Government, in an interview with Al-Masira stressed that the current level of military power in Yemen is not comparable to six years ago.
In an interview with Al-Masira, he stressed: “The leader of the Yemeni revolution has set military options against the aggressors from the first day, and the end of this battle is associated with the victory of those who rely on God.”
Al-Atefi said that Yemeni fighters were able to draw maps of military techniques against the enemy, which surprised the invading forces on the battlefield.
The Minister of Defense of the Yemeni National Salvation Government emphasized: Despite the fact that the Armed Forces faced surprise blows, the Armed Forces Command was able to reduce the casualties caused by the enemy’s blows by taking good actions.
He added: “During the first years of the aggression against Yemen, important steps were taken in the reconstruction of the armed forces, and great achievements were achieved simultaneously with the field achievements. We quickly moved towards the production of light and medium weapons, which created an incentive to produce strategic deterrent weapons.”
Al-Atefi said ballistic missiles and the arrival of drones on the battlefield, as well as air defense systems and naval systems, were the factors that triggered a leap from defensive to offensive combat.
The Minister of Defense of the Yemeni National Salvation Government emphasized: Despite the fact that the Armed Forces faced surprise blows, the Armed Forces Command was able to reduce the casualties caused by the enemy’s blows by taking good actions.
Al-Atefi said: “In 2013, we were invited to a meeting with an American-Jordanian committee and they insisted on discussing the collection of missile types that I was in command of at the time.
“After the September 21 revolution, we restored the missile systems to their previous readiness and then upgraded them and built new missiles, some of which we unveiled and some of which we will unveil at the right time,” the Yemeni defense minister said.
