Yemen; The UAE withdrew its mercenaries from Shabwa province.
Al-Waya Al-Amalqa (Giant Brigades), a UAE mercenary in Yemen, announced the withdrawal of its forces from Shabwa province to their previous positions.
The Al-Amalqa militia, a UAE mercenary fighting the Yemeni armed forces, has claimed to have completed its operation in Shabwa province.
The group said in a statement: “Amaleh brigades succeeded in moving their forces in this province after capturing the cities of Bihan and Harb and what they called the complete security of Shabwa province.”
“After their great success in Operation Southern Storm, they started moving their brigades to their nest,” the statement said.
On December 27th, the militant group sent troops to the province at the behest of the UAE, with the aim of liberating the cities of Shabwa province from Houthi forces.
In retaliation for the Saudi-Emirati coalition’s mercenary attacks on Shabwa province, the Yemeni armed forces, in retaliation for the aggression, targeted positions deep in the UAE territory in two phases, which shocked Abu Dhabi and US officials.
Al-Mayadin, however, quoted an informed source as saying that Al-Wiya Al-Amlaqa withdrew from Shabwa on the orders of the UAE, which is a clear sign of the UAE’s defeat in Yemen.
Referring to the heavy losses of the UAE mercenaries in the manner, the source said: the attack of the Yemeni armed forces deep in the UAE and the threat of Sanaa to repeat the response to the aggression against Yemen, forced the UAE to stop its military operations in Yemen.
