Yemeni National Salvation Government officials condemn international community silence over Saudi coalition deliberate attacks on Sanaa’s main medical centers and training centers.
Yemeni National Salvation Government officials condemned this morning’s attacks by the Saudi coalition on training centers and several hospitals and medical centers in Sanaa.
According to Al-Masira, Talat al-Sharjabi, spokesman for the Yemeni Supreme Council for Humanitarian Affairs, said that the Saudi coalition’s deliberate attack on a crowded area where several medical and medical complexes are located is a full-blown war crime to further afflict the Yemeni people. .
“As the Saudi coalition intensifies its attacks on Sanaa, we have complained to the institutions about the reduction of their humanitarian programs to serve the poor and the Yemeni hospitals,” he added.
According to Yemeni sources, this morning’s attacks by the Saudi coalition near Sanaa’s Al-Aliya Hospital had sparked panic among patients and medical staff, and heavy damage to the hospital had led to a halt in services to patients.
The Saudi coalition targeted a fully-fledged medical area in central Sanaa, home to three private and public hospitals and dozens of diagnostic and treatment centers.
At least 20 people were injured in the attacks, and patients were evacuated from hospitals affected by the attacks.
Motahar al-Marwani, head of the Sanaa health bureau, also stressed that the Saudi coalition airstrikes on hospitals were a deliberate attempt to put pressure on the Yemeni health sector, which is basically suffering from aggression and siege.
Referring to the heavy damage to the capital’s hospitals, he said that medical diagnostic centers were completely closed and thousands of patients in Sanaa and other provinces who came to the capital for treatment were injured.
The Ministry of Education of the Yemeni National Salvation Government also condemned the Saudi coalition’s attack on educational facilities in Sanaa.
The ministry said in a statement: “Today’s airstrikes against Sanaa caused heavy damage to the Teacher Support Fund and educational projects, as well as the Baghdad’s training center and school on Baghdad Street in Sanaa.”
