Yemen: Saudi Arabia has not responded to resolve the humanitarian case.
While criticizing Saudi Arabia’s lack of attention to solving Yemen’s humanitarian issues, the Deputy Prime Minister of Yemen’s National Salvation Government warned that Riyadh cannot combine an attack on a neighboring country with economic development plans.
Jalal Al Royshan, the Deputy Prime Minister of the National Salvation Government of Yemen for Defense and Security Affairs, announced on Thursday that Saudi Arabia has not yet responded to the resolution of the humanitarian case that was held after the negotiations of the holy month of Ramadan, and our assessment is that Riyadh is seeking to buy time.
Al-Ravishan told Al-Masira news channel: “The current negotiations with the Saudi side, which are being mediated by Oman, are an attempt to establish peace, and Sana’a has also reacted positively to this issue, but Riyadh must know that it cannot attack a neighboring country with development plans.
He also said: From the beginning of the ceasefire, the Yemeni armed forces began to restore their capabilities, and after its end, we returned to the state of war. Sana’a has the power to militarily surround Saudi ports and the flow of capital towards it. The Yemeni armed forces have already carried out operations in this field.
In the end, this Yemeni official pointed out that international speeches claim to support Yemen’s territorial integrity and independence, but practical actions show something else. Of course, the disintegration project also shows that the aggressor countries are trying to complicate the scene in Yemen so that they can gain concessions in the negotiations.
In this connection, “Hans Grundberg”, the special envoy of the United Nations for Yemen affairs, on June 6 of this month, called for China’s mediation in the war of the Saudi-Emirati coalition against Yemen. During the meeting with Chinese officials, Grundberg asked Beijing to mediate between Riyadh and Sana’a in the case of Yemen; As before, he played such a role between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Saudi Arabia.
The gesture of solving the crisis in Yemen was taken by Grundberg while “Hussein Al-Azi”, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the National Salvation Government of Yemen, emphasized last month that UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres and Grundberg are the main culprits of the siege of the Yemeni people.
Grundberg expressed hope that dialogue and harmony in the region will create a more suitable environment for establishing peace in Yemen. Grundberg also described his consultations as “constructive” and claimed that these consultations will lead to increased cooperation in the future.
In the end, he said that unity in the Security Council regarding Yemen is a necessary matter; Not just now, but for the near future and in the long term; In such a way that the people of Yemen will be on the path of peace and improvement of their situation.
