Yemen: Media expose Saudi lies about weapons at Sanaa airport.
Yemeni officials have called on the media to deny Saudi Arabia’s lies about the military use of the facilities, following the Saudi coalition’s threat to bomb ports and Sanaa airport in Yemen.
In an interview with Al-Masira, a Yemeni government official stressed that the Saudi coalition’s threats to bomb the ports of Al-Hudaidah, Al-Salif and Sanaa Airport and to set a deadline in this regard are a full-fledged war crime.
The source stressed: “The aggressor coalition is using lies and misleading public opinion, just as it used the scene of the American film about Iraq to justify the bombing of Bandar al-Hudaidah.”
The Yemeni official added: “The facilities that the aggressor coalition has threatened to bomb are purely civilian facilities that have not been used for any military purpose.”
The management of Sanaa Airport asked the media to film the airport to confirm that it is free of any military appearance.
The management of Sanaa Airport has denied allegations by Saudi Arabia that the Yemeni armed forces used the airport to launch missiles and drones, saying that the Saudi aggressor coalition is clearly misleading public opinion.
A statement from Sanaa Airport said: “Saudi Arabia’s rumor that Sanaa Airport is being used for military purposes is a lie, and its purpose is a Chinese prelude to targeting it.”
The management of Sanaa Airport emphasized: “We hold Saudi Arabia responsible for any attack on the airport and we emphasize that any attack on that war is a deliberate war crime.”
The management of Al-Hudaidah port also issued a message to the media asking them to visit the port to make sure that it is free of any military appearances in order to refute the claims of the Saudi aggressor coalition.
In this regard, a team from the United Nations is going to travel to Al-Hudaidah and Al-Salif to make sure that it is free of any military facilities.
