During this visit, Al-Mashat added: “The 33rd anniversary of Yemen’s unity will be held on May 22, and our country is exposed to dubious conspiracies and projects that seek to weaken it by dismantling and further dividing the country.”
In this meeting, Major General Baras pointed out that May 22 is a great event in the history of Yemen, and emphasized that Al-Mashat’s visit to him is a proof of his appreciation for this historical event and respect for the unity of Yemen.
Baras added: “We are with patriotic positions, we stood with manly firmness, we fought against the aggression of the United States and Saudi Arabia, and each of us fought with our weapons and energy against the aggression of the United States and made sacrifices and stopped the storms of aggression.”
Pointing out that when the unity was announced, people in all provinces welcomed it as a great historical event, Baras noted: “Today, the people of Yemen are living in the 33rd anniversary of May 22 and the unity of Yemen, in which the unity of Yemen And the unity of the Yemeni people was achieved.”
