When Nasrallah’s silence forced Washington and Tel Aviv to struggle.
A Qatari newspaper published a note because of the silence of the Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah regarding the latest news related to the maritime border dispute with the Zionist regime and Tel Aviv’s struggle in this regard.
The optimistic statements of the Lebanese authorities about getting closer to the agreement to determine the maritime borders with the Zionist regime have increased significantly after the visit of the American envoy Amos Hochstein to Beirut on Friday. However, the Secretary General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, who should be aware of the details of the negotiations regarding this case, still adheres to the deadline he gave to the Zionists regarding the dispute over the gas field and has remained silent.
The Qatari newspaper “Rai Alyoum” published a note on this matter and wrote that these optimistic words are similar to the words that were expressed by the European parties in the last ten months regarding the imminent reaching of an agreement in the negotiations regarding Iran’s nuclear case with the United States.
The author continued: “Let’s hope that this Lebanese optimism is correct and this time it acknowledges the Israeli-American intentions, because the alternative is war.” Foreign Minister Abdullah Bouhabib, after meeting with Najib Miqati, the Prime Minister of the Progress Administration, emphasized that Hochstein has made new proposals and progress has been made, but it is not yet final. Lebanon adheres to Line 23 and the entire Qana Square.
The note continues: “We don’t know what the content of Israel’s new proposals, about which optimism is expressed, is, but we are sure that Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the Secretary General of Hezbollah, is aware of every detail because he has the final say.” Because the four drones he sent to the occupied territory of Lebanon a few weeks ago caused this panic in the ranks of the Israelis and Americans and encouraged both sides to make concessions and accelerate the reaching of an agreement.
According to this note, “Sayed Nasrallah and the resistance media are carefully monitoring the situation, and at the same time they are silent and leave the matter of negotiations with the American mediator to the Lebanese government. But if the goal of the American mediator is to buy more time and prolong the negotiation process until after the next November elections in “Israel” and the mid-term elections of the American Legislative Assembly which will be held a week later, this silence will definitely not continue.
The author continues: “Hezbollah’s response, as Mr. Nasrallah said, will not be a threat, which will be an attack on the Galilee region in the north of occupied Palestine with missiles and drones and its liberation. The most important point in Mr. Bouhabib’s “optimistic” statements was this. He quoted Hochstein as saying: “American President Joe Biden called Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid and asked him to complete the border demarcation agreement this month or next.” This means that the American government knows very well that Mr. Nasrallah is serious about his threats and adheres to the ceasefire that he has given to the Israelis, which will expire in the next few days, and that Biden is igniting the fire of a regional war in the Middle East. While the West is engaged in a world war in Ukraine, it does not know wisely.
