Washington rejected the name of the Palestinian institutions on the list of terrorism. The US Department of State spokeswoman announced that Washington opposed the decision of Tel Aviv for the name of the Palestinian institutions in the list of terrorist organizations.
US State Department spokesman Ned Price stressed last night (Tuesday) that Washington [unlike Tel Aviv] rejects the inclusion of six Palestinian NGOs on its list of terrorist organizations.
“The United States does not list any of the non-governmental organizations that Israel has listed as a terrorist organization,” Price told a news conference, according to Arab 21.
“We have explained to the Israeli government and the Palestinian Authority that the independent civil society organizations in the West Bank and inside Israel must continue their important activities,” he said.
A State Department spokesman added: “Washington appreciates the work of independent NGOs in Gaza, the West Bank, Israel and elsewhere; “Because these institutions are watching for violations and human rights violations.”
Recently, in response to warnings and complaints from international courts such as Amnesty International, the interim Zionist regime unilaterally named six Palestinian NGOs as terrorist organizations.
Following the announcement of the US position, the “Organization for Democracy in the Arab World” stated: “The occupying regime has not provided any reasons for this action and in support of its position; “That is why no country in the world supports this decision.”
