An Israeli media outlet investigated: the visible and hidden presence of Israel in Iraqi Kurdistan.
An Israeli media outlet exposed the various dimensions of the presence of Israeli intelligence services in northern Iraq (Kurdistan) and revealed facts about the destructive role of Israeli intelligence bases in the region against countries in the region.
In a report, Nir Dafouri, a correspondent for Israel’s Channel 12 television, admitted to the explosion of a Mossad base in northern Iraq, saying that a number of intelligence agents had been killed in the blast.
He claimed that the attack was carried out by Iraqi militia groups allied with Iran, which coincided with the visit of Israeli Foreign Minister Yair Lapid to the United Arab Emirates.
“One of the buildings used by Israeli Mossad agents in the city of Erbil in the Kurdish region of northern Iraq was attacked by militant groups,” the report said.
Local media reported that a number of people were killed in the overnight rocket attack.
In Israel, however, no information was provided to the media, and even KRG officials denied such an incident.
However, reports suggest that the Iranian intelligence services have also concluded that Israel has returned to its close, regular, and organized activities in northern Iraq and northern Syria, and that its intelligence and sabotage operations Leads against Iran and all parts of Syria and Iraq from this point.
About a year ago, a massive explosion shook an Iraqi army barracks in the Salah al-Din neighborhood north of Baghdad, according to the report. The attack was carried out using an offensive drone, and the Iranians at the time claimed that Israel was behind the attack.
The Iraqi Kurdish government, which enjoys autonomy in the northern part of the country, denies Iraqi and Iranian media claims that it is hosting Israel to establish a base in the region.
