Venezuela supports Cuba against US conspiracies.
During a visit to Havana, the vice president of Venezuela reiterated his country’s strong support for the Cuban government and people against foreign conspiracies.
Venezuelan Vice President Delsi Rodriguez, who traveled to Havana on Friday, announced Caracas’ support for the Cuban government and government against foreign conspiracies.
On Friday, Delsi Roedrigues met with Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Conel to discuss strengthening bilateral cooperation and the fight against the Covid-19 virus, according to TeleSur.
According to the report, during the meeting, Venezuelan Vice President Nicolas Maduro delivered a message to the President of Cuba expressing solidarity with the government and people of Cuba.
In the message, Maduro also condemned the US siege of Cuba.
During the trip, Rodriguez also condemned the US political and military campaign to destabilize Cuba.
Thousands of Cubans gathered in Havana’s La Piragua Square on Saturday to show their support for the Cuban revolution leaders and to refute US propaganda about the Cuban government’s incompetence.
A few days ago, widespread protests took place in eight Cuban cities, including the capital Havana, against government policies, and protesters protested their living conditions. US National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan responded to the protests by saying that the United States supported the protesters’ right to demonstrate.
