Unlike the West, Moscow seeks a peaceful end to the war.
A retired senior officer of the US intelligence agency said in an analysis of the prospect of a war between Russia and Ukraine: Contrary to the assessment of Western intelligence circles, Russia does not seek to provoke Ukraine and escalate the conflict.
“Russia Elium” website reported on Sunday evening that Ritter, one of the retired intelligence officers of the US intelligence service, about Russia’s performance in the Ukraine war, in an analysis pointing to the skill and strategic thinking of Russian President Vladimir Putin, announced that Russia managed the war. In Ukraine, it seeks to prevent the escalation of conflicts and the war from spiraling out of control.
Reacting to the analysis of Western experts that Russia may declare war against Poland in alignment with NATO, this former American intelligence official said: According to intelligence assessments, Moscow does not have such an intention and these statements are only pumped by Western circles.
Continuing his analysis of Russia’s war management against Ukraine’s Western allies, Ritz added: Russia’s aggressive behavior is directly related to the performance of Western countries, and Russia will respond militarily if conditions and legal reasons call for it.
The retired senior US intelligence official added that Moscow is looking to resolve the conflict and end the war in any case, but Western countries are looking to provoke Russia and pour gasoline on the fire of the conflict in Ukraine.
It should be noted that the Russian army started its “special military operation” in eastern Ukraine last February 24 (March 5, 1400).
In order to counter the advance of the Russian army in Ukraine, the United States and the Western countries have imposed many sanctions against Russia, while sending all kinds of advanced weapons to the Ukrainian army.
On the other hand, “Sergei Lavrov”, the Russian Foreign Minister, has also said that any shipment and convoy carrying military weapons for Ukraine is a legitimate target for Russian forces.
