The Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Saturday (yesterday): “Unilateral and illegal policies, including the development of illegal settlements, destroy the idea of a two-state solution, which is the only option for a lasting and comprehensive solution to the Palestinian conflict. “It should end.”
According to the ministry statement, the Turkish government “calls on the international community to ensure the protection of Palestinian territory and the rights of the Palestinian people in order to achieve lasting peace and stability in the region.”
The Turkish Foreign Ministry also called the Israeli regime’s inclusion of six Palestinian human rights groups in the list of terrorist organizations contrary to international law.
Ankara’s comments about Tel Aviv came as Turkish media outlets reported on the arrest of Mossad spies in recent days.
Turkish sources report that Turkish security forces have arrested a group of 15 members of the Zionist regime’s spy apparatus.
