Turkey seeks to improve relations with Israel!
A spokesman for Turkey’s ruling party said Ankara wanted to discuss the Palestinian issue with Tel Aviv, referring to an agreement on a framework for improving relations with Israel during a phone call between Erdogan and Herzog.
Despite Turkish officials’ criticism of the Zionist regime’s policies toward the Palestinians, signals from Ankara indicate a desire to improve relations with Tel Aviv.
The ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP), Turkey’s ruling party, announced on Wednesday evening that the two sides had agreed to work together to improve strained bilateral relations during a meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and new Israeli President Ishaq Herzog.
On Monday, president of Turkey Erdogan congratulated Herzog on his election as the new head of Israel’s child-killing regime, arguing that Ankara-Tel Aviv relations were essential for the stability of the West Asian region.
“After this call, a framework emerged in which progress should be made on various issues to improve [relations] and steps should be taken to resolve disputes in problematic areas,” Omar Celik, a spokesman for the Justice and Development Party, told a news conference, according to Reuters. ».
Celik explained that the issue of the Palestinians is one of the many issues that Turkey wants to talk about with Israel, and that issues such as tourism and trade should be a “win-win” situation for both sides.
Turkey and the Zionist regime have not had ambassadors since May 2018 – after Ankara expelled the Israeli ambassador on the pretext of increasing Zionist attacks on the Gaza Strip and US President Donald Trump’s decision to move the embassy from Tel Aviv to occupied Jerusalem.
Earlier, two Zionist officials said that Tel Aviv was also approaching Ankara, referring to messages the Turkish president had recently given to the Zionist regime through Baku and the media.
