Trump, who faced impeachment in the US Congress twice during his presidency, said that he did not release the camera images from this operation because the FBI asked him not to do so due to concerns about the security of the agents conducting this search operation.
“They asked us not to publish these pictures, but we definitely have them,” the former US president said.
According to the Independent, Trump’s past behavior regarding the security of FBI agents has fueled concerns about the security of the agents if these images are made public.
FBI agents conducted a search operation on the Trump property on August 8 as part of an investigation that was not revealed before the operation.
