Trump struggles again to overturn the 2020 election results in the state of Georgia.
Former United States President Donald Trump has sent a letter to Georgia’s Secretary of State urging him to begin the process of annulling the 2020 election results.
The letter, published by Donald Trump’s spokeswoman Liz Harrington on Twitter, claims that there is attached evidence of “widespread electoral fraud” in Georgia, according to Business Insider.
In a letter to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, Trump referred to 43,000 absentee ballots alleging violations of the law.
The letter reads: “I respectfully request that your department investigate this matter, and if it is true, along with many other allegations of voter fraud and voter misconduct, you have initiated the process of not approving the election or any other legal remedy.” And announce the real winner.
Since losing the 2020 election, Donald Trump has repeatedly made allegations of widespread electoral fraud. Joe Biden won in Georgia by just over 12,000 votes out of a total of 5 million. The state of Georgia recounted the vote, and each time Joe Biden won.
Georgia’s Republican Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger has previously said there is no doubt Biden will win.
“People do not understand why you and Republican Gov. Brian Kemp stubbornly refuse to acknowledge these facts that have now been proven,” Trump wrote in the letter to the state official.
