Trump repeatedly tried to expel his son-in-law and daughter from the White House.
An American author revealed in his new book that Donald Trump has repeatedly considered expelling his daughter and son-in-law from his administration during his presidency.
An American writer and journalist wrote in his new book, “Donald Trump”, the former president of the United States, during his presidency, several times tried to fire “Ivanka Trump” and “Jared Kushner”, his daughter and son-in-law, who worked as his presidential advisor. He had what he was doing and at one point he wanted to do this by resorting to “Twitter”.
According to the “Washington Examiner”, “New York Times” journalist Maggie Haberman wrote in her new book “The Impostor: The Making of Donald Trump and the Breakdown of America”, Trump once had a meeting with President John Kelly. His former presidential office and then-White House counsel Don McGahn spoke about his plans to fire the couple from his administration. Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner both served as White House advisers.
According to the book, he said in this meeting that he could simply tweet that his son-in-law and daughter were leaving the White House, but this was opposed by John Kelly.
Haberman wrote: “Kelly and McGahn resisted this proposal and expressed concern that if Trump’s daughter and son-in-law resist this issue, Trump will no longer be able to support them.”
He continued: “Kelly stopped Trump from firing them via Twitter, saying Trump should talk to them directly before doing so.” “Trump took him at his word and then never acted on it.”
