On the other hand, the US House of Representatives rejected the “Amendment of the National Defense Budget Bill”, which, if approved, would have prohibited sending cluster bombs to Ukraine.
According to the announced results, 276 representatives opposed this plan and 147 representatives voted in defense of its approval.
Earlier, the US House of Representatives rejected the amendments proposed by a number of lawmakers to the national defense bill for fiscal year 2024, according to which US military aid to Ukraine would be reduced or stopped altogether.
