Trump mocking Biden: He can’t even walk up the stairs of an airplane.
According to Forbes, the former president of the United States, Donald Trump, strongly criticized the decision of the Biden administration to declare 3,000 US Army reserve forces on standby and said that Biden’s policies threaten the security of the American borders and push us further towards war.
In a statement published by his office, Donald Trump said that the United States can no longer tolerate the policies of the “incompetent administration” of Biden in dragging the country into the third world war.
Trump also promised once again that if he wins the 2024 US presidential election, he will end the war in Ukraine “within 24 hours”.
Trump went on to strongly criticize Biden’s decision to authorize the Pentagon to prepare military reserves in Europe, writing: “Biden can’t even climb the stairs of Air Force One without falling.”
In his statement, Trump also added: “Just last week, Biden made a shocking admission that our arsenals are so depleted that America’s military reserves are running out.” Now, we’re seeing the ranks of the military depleted enough to force reserves to support Biden’s disastrous policies in Europe, while our own borders remain undefended.”
The former US president continued: “No American mother or father wants to send their child to die in Eastern Europe. We must have peace.”
On the other hand, the US House of Representatives rejected the “Amendment of the National Defense Budget Bill”, which, if approved, would have prohibited sending cluster bombs to Ukraine.
According to the announced results, 276 representatives opposed this plan and 147 representatives voted in defense of its approval.
Earlier, the US House of Representatives rejected the amendments proposed by a number of lawmakers to the national defense bill for fiscal year 2024, according to which US military aid to Ukraine would be reduced or stopped altogether.
“We have just received them (cluster bombs), we haven’t used them yet, but they can fundamentally change the situation on the battlefield… the enemy too,” General Alexander Tarnavskiy, the commander of the Tavria joint forces operation, claimed on Thursday. He understands that by taking these ammunitions, we will have an advantage. The enemy will leave that part of the land that can be used.”
After media speculations, US President Joe Biden officially confirmed in an interview with CNN last Saturday that the country approved for the first time the controversial weapons of “cluster bombs” in the hands of the Ukrainian army.
Biden claimed that this decision was a “difficult decision” for the US government, but that he and his cabinet finally made the decision “after consulting with allies and colleagues in Congress” because “the Ukrainians are running out of ammunition and in counterattacks.” They need these types of weapons.”
While the US President announces the sending of cluster bombs to Ukraine and consultation with the United Nations, Defense Minister Boris Pistorius and German Foreign Minister Analena Baerbock in separate conversations on Friday expressed Berlin’s opposition to sending cluster bombs to Ukraine. Ukraine announced. Germany’s defense minister in Bern said in this regard: Germany will not give cluster munitions to Ukraine, because this country has signed the convention prohibiting the production and use of this type of weapon. On the other hand, Alexander Schallenberg, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Austria, announced at the same time: Austria is against sending cluster munitions to Ukraine due to the long-term threat to civilians.
