Trump is going to Georgina on Thursday to surrender.
According to CNN, “Donald Trump”, the former president of the United States, after the initial agreement to be released on a bail of 200 thousand dollars, plans to surrender himself to Fulton County Jail on Thursday to be monitored in this jail.
Trump announced this news on Tuesday morning on his social network and wrote: “Thursday I am going to Atlanta, Georgia to be arrested.”
The conditions of Trump’s parole in the current case are much more complicated than the conditions under which he was already released on bail in previous cases.
The former US president is expressly prohibited from using social media to target others.
The order signed by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Scott McAfee states: “The defendant shall not take any action to intimidate any person known to be a defendant or witness in this case or to obstruct the administration of justice.”
This case is the fourth criminal case against the former US president this year. In previous cases, the conditions for Trump’s release after arrest and trial have been largely normal, but now the conditions for Trump’s parole appear to be very complicated.
Trump was previously released on minimum terms in the election case filed in Washington, DC. These conditions included not being allowed to communicate with anyone known as a witness in the case.
All 19 defendants in the case, including Trump, who was charged last week with trying to overturn the 2020 election, are expected to turn themselves in this week ahead of a Friday deadline.
Fulton District Attorney Fannie Willis has given Trump and 18 other defendants until Friday to submit to the law.
The local sheriff of the state of Georgia announced in a statement last week that Donald Trump, the former president of the country, along with the suspects in the case of meddling in the 2020 US presidential election in the Georgia electoral district, should voluntarily submit themselves to Fulton County Jail otherwise, they will be officially arrested.
CNN quoted this statement and wrote: At this point, based on the order received from the district attorney’s office and the judge of the case, it is expected that all 19 defendants named in the indictment will hand themselves over to Rice Street Prison.
According to the law, suspects must go through formal detention procedures, including body searches, fingerprinting and, of course, photography upon entering the jail.
A grand jury in Georgia on Monday indicted Trump and a number of lawyers, aides, campaign workers and local Republican Party members in a case of trying to overturn the results of the 2020 US presidential election.
