Donald Trump, the former president of the United States, who these days is making the most of the Russia-Ukraine war in his campaign for the 2024 presidential election, this time criticized the possibility of Kyiv joining the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).
In a video message on Saturday evening, Trump said that even thinking about Ukraine joining NATO is crazy.
According to “Sputnik” news agency, he explained about this: “It is said that we (the United States) are simply considering Ukraine joining NATO right now, it is pure madness.”
Repeating his verbal attacks on President Joe Biden’s administration, this American politician said: “The current administration led by Joe Biden is dragging America into World War III. The current government is not competent and should not take the risk of starting a war with Russia or China.”
According to the report, Trump also added: “This is for the benefit of a nation that has paid millions and millions of dollars in bribes to his family. You just have to see how much China and Ukraine have paid to the Biden family.”
He, who faces several criminal cases in court, has previously claimed that if he returned to the White House and contacted the leaders of Russia and Ukraine, he could end the war within a day.
