Trump: Biden’s policies are the cause of inflation, not Russia.
The former US president has said that Russia had no role in raising gasoline prices in the United States and that Biden’s policies have led to rising inflation in the United States.
Former United States President Donald Trump told supporters in North Carolina on Saturday that President Joe Biden was well on his way to a much-anticipated end to the Ukraine war on February 24. Rising gas prices helped boost inflation in the United States.
According to the Russian news agency “Sputnik”, Trump’s remarks came at a time when Biden had previously blamed the sudden rise in fuel prices in the United States due to Putin’s move to increase fuel prices.
Sputnik added that the controversial former US president once again defended his government’s performance, saying that if he had become US president, the United States would have been energy independent, explaining: “What is happening is inconceivable. Remember the independence of energy? “We had enough (energy) that in one year we would double the amount of energy that Saudi Arabia and Russia had.”
Trump then added that during his presidency, each gallon of gasoline was worth less than two dollars, but now, due to the huge increase in gasoline prices, the American people are forced to buy smaller cars.
Trump: The American people have been forced to drive smaller cars because of the sudden rise in gasoline prices.
“Long before the Ukraine affair, Biden raised gasoline prices with a left-wing extremist policy inspired by the so-called socialist joke of a ‘new green agreement,'” Trump said. We want windmills everywhere. “I do not see any windmills here … If there is a windmill near you and you have houses there, your house is very valuable and there is the most expensive energy there.”
