According to the report, federal statistics show that 77.3 percent of ICU beds across the United States are currently occupied, with 28 percent of these beds being occupied by Crohn’s patients.
About half of the US states report that 75% of the capacity of ICU beds in their hospitals is now full.
As the number of people living with the coronavirus in the United States continues to rise, the number of vacant ICU beds in US hospitals is declining rapidly.
The rapid spread of the Corona delta virus has led to a dramatic increase in the number of patients admitted to US hospitals, with the average number of patients admitted to the US over the past seven days reaching more than 94,000 per day.
New York Governor Katie Hochol has revealed that the death toll from the Corona virus in the state is 12,000 more than the initial figures.
He had previously promised to be more transparent about the number of coronavirus deaths in the state.
“According to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, 55,400 people have died of coronary heart disease in the state so far,” he said.
That’s 12,000 more than the 43,400 death toll previously announced by former New York Governor Andrew Como.
New York has the third highest death toll from the Corona crisis, after California and Texas.
