Thousands of Londoners gather against Johnson to protest inflation.

Thousands of British people marched in central London on Saturday in protest of rising living costs.
According to the Associated Press, a large crowd gathered in central London, the capital of England, to hold the demonstration.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been criticized by British citizens for being slow to respond to the cost-of-living crisis. Inflation is now rising in Britain and across Europe as Russia’s war in Ukraine has depleted major energy sources and foodstuffs such as wheat.
Demonstrators shouted at the prime minister as he crossed Downing Street, according to videos posted on social media. “The Johnson administration does not know how bad things are for the poor,” said Ben Robinson, a British citizen working for a housing charity in south London.
The workers’ union TUC, which organized the protest, said workers had lost about ۰۰ 20,000 ($ 24,450) since 2008 because wages did not match inflation.
The Johnson administration is under intense pressure to help the British, who are struggling with rising fuel and food prices and energy bills, the report said.
The Resolution Foundation recently announced that British households are entering a “high-pressure year” as rising energy costs and rising inflation erode their incomes.
The agency said real wages would virtually slump in 2022, rising by just 0.1 percent. If the wage trend continues before the corona outbreak, wages will be 740 ($ 996) a year for three years.
Britain’s inflation rate is now above 5 percent and may reach 6 percent next year, the highest figure in a decade. This level of inflation will hurt consumers who are currently coping with the recession caused by the Corona epidemic.
