The Zionist regime agrees to build 3,000 new housing units in the West Bank.
The Supreme Planning Council of the Zionist regime’s Ministry of War, which is responsible for issuing construction permits in the West Bank, has agreed to build about 3,000 new housing units in the area.
The Hebrew-language channel “Kan” had previously announced that the Zionist regime had decided to build more than 3,000 new housing units in the West Bank for the Zionists.
State Department spokesman Ned Price has previously said that the Biden administration strongly opposes Israel’s plans to expand settlements in the West Bank.
He added: “We are deeply concerned about the Tel Aviv government’s plans to advance the construction of thousands of housing units, some of which are in the depths of the West Bank, and we strongly oppose them.”
Ned Price’s remarks are one of the Biden administration’s sharpest stances on the issue of Israeli settlements in the Occupied Palestinian Territories.
