The West failed to change the order of the G20 meeting.
According to Sputnik, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who attended the G20 summit in New Delhi instead of the country’s president, Vladimir Putin, spoke at his press conference on the second and final day of the G20 summit on changing the structure of the organization. The World Council and the International Plow Fund emphasized.
Lavrov said in this regard: The results of the G20 summit created positive incentives for changes in the structure of the International Monetary Fund and the World Trade Organization.
In the final statement, the leaders of the Group of 20 called for the “reform of the World Trade Organization”. This statement also states that “the present age should not be the age of wars.”
The Russian Foreign Minister stated that the G20 summit was successful and is currently involved in internal reforms, adding that despite the important situation, Western countries tried to change the agenda of the summit to Ukraine.
In another part of his speech, referring to the grain agreement, he said: Russia appreciates the efforts of UN Secretary-General Anton Guterres regarding the grain issue, but if the West continues to make promises without taking positive steps towards Russia’s conditions and demands, it is doomed to failure. .
Lavrov stated that “the West cannot remain a global hegemon and continue to dominate” and added: “The West cannot remain a hegemon, given that objectively, new centers of global development have appeared a long time ago and are being strengthened.”
Referring to the recent tensions in relations between Armenia and Russia, Sergey Lavrov said: “We regret Armenia’s actions regarding holding joint exercises with the United States.” The fact that a NATO member country tries to infiltrate the South Caucasus will not lead to anything good. Moscow hopes that all commitments of the alliance with Yerevan will be respected in Armenian policy. Russia values these relations.
