The website of the Bahrain Parliament has been hacked.
While parliamentary elections are scheduled to be held in Bahrain on Saturday, hackers hacked the website of the country’s parliament.
While the Bahraini opposition has widely boycotted the country’s parliamentary elections, which are scheduled to be held on Saturday, a hacker group known as Al-Toufan hacked the website of the Bahraini parliament on Friday.
This hacker group placed the picture of the martyr “Reza Abdullah Al-Ghosra” in a large size on the front page of the website of the Bahrain Parliament, and the pictures of other Bahraini martyrs can be seen in a small size on this page.
This hacking group wrote on this page that a storm is coming, which probably refers to another hacking operation by this group.
Bahrain’s parliamentary and municipal elections are scheduled to be held on November 12 , and Bahraini figures and groups have been calling for a widespread boycott of the elections for months.
The House of Representatives of Bahrain was established by the Constitution of 2002 and consists of forty members who are elected by popular vote, and the last parliamentary elections were held in late 2018.
In this regard, Ayatollah Sheikh Isa Qasim, the Shiite leader of Bahrain, on Wednesday once again called for a widespread boycott of the parliamentary and municipal elections in this country on his Twitter page.
He wrote: “It is correct that there is no participation so that the flow of democracy does not completely disappear and the dictatorship does not become more institutionalized”.
He had previously written on his Twitter page: “Elections in Bahrain are only for more tyranny, and the people in this government are only a tool for the government to dominate them completely.” Does common sense allow participation in this election?”
On the 22nd of last September, six groups and opposition political groups of Bahrain announced a boycott of the elections in a joint position.
