The voice of the British people was heard about racism in this country.
Nationwide demonstrations have been held in several English cities to protest the actions of the South London police in the killing of an unarmed black youth, and people have demanded justice.
The murder of “Chris Caba”, a 24-year-old black man in England, has once again revived protests against racism in this country.
According to “Guardian”, English protestors gathered in front of the “Scotland Yard” office this time, demanding justice in the context of his murder by the police. Protesters are protesting that the country’s police forces in south London shot and killed Chris Caba, who had no weapon in his hand.
The demonstration in front of Scotland Yard is one of a series of protests across England, with similar demonstrations taking place in Manchester, Coventry and Southampton.
A group of 24-year-old black English supporters have launched a campaign entitled “Justice for Chris Kabba”.
The Independent Policing Office, which oversees police in England, is investigating the September 5 shooting in south London and the shooting death of Chris Caba, and is looking into whether his skin color and race played a role. Did the events of this day happen or not?
“Bill Ribeiro-Eddy”, representative of Streamham constituency in the English Parliament, is one of the supporters of Chris Kaba’s family. This lawmaker, a member of the Labor Party, has strongly criticized the British police authorities for not immediately suspending the police officer responsible for the murder of Chris Caba.
“In any other job, if you did something that ended someone’s life, you would be suspended immediately,” the MP said. This issue (non-suspension of the police officer responsible for the murder of Chris Kaba) is meaningless to me and I am a politician.
Referring to his conversations with the family of this young black man, Bill Ribeiro-Eddy announced that the honor of Chris Kaba’s family has been harmed. He added: “All they want is justice.”
