The visit of the President of Venezuela to Saudi Arabia
The president of Venezuela arrived in Jeddah at the head of a political delegation to consult with Saudi authorities.
Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro arrived in Saudi Arabia last night (Monday, June 4) at the head of a political delegation consisting of his cabinet ministers.
According to the official news agency of the Saudi government “WAS”, the president of Venezuela and his delegation were welcomed by the Saudi authorities at Jeddah International Airport last night.
Venezuelan media also reported that Maduro, who arrived in Jeddah with his wife, the ministers of foreign affairs and communications, and other officials, will meet with Saudi King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Mohammed bin Salman, the crown prince of this country.
The press team accompanying the President of Venezuela wrote in a tweet: Maduro’s visit to Jeddah, the second most important city of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, is within the framework and agenda of Caracas with the aim of strengthening political alliances, diplomatic relations, and energy issues.
Before leaving for Saudi Arabia, Maduro had traveled to Ankara to participate in the inauguration ceremony of Recep Tayyip Erdogan, who won the Turkish presidential election again.
