The military convoy consisted of 30 trucks, the channel reported. These trucks were carrying light weapons, ammunition and mortars.
Opposition news sources also said that the equipment entered the northeastern province of Hasakah through the illegal Al-Waleed crossing on the Syrian-Iraqi border.
According to the sources, patrols belonging to Kurdish militias known as the “Syrian Democratic Forces” – escorted by Washington and US helicopters – escorted the trucks.
The sources stated that part of the equipment was transferred to the “Tal Bidar” base in the north of Hasakah and part of it to the al-Shadadi base in the south of the province.
