The UAE announced the time to normalize relations with Turkey.
“We are looking to develop trade relations with eight countries, some of which we hope to develop by the end of the year,” said Thani al-Zaydi, the UAE Minister of Commerce.
He added: “We intend to develop our trade and economic relations with India, Britain, South Korea and Turkey.”
Al-Zayudi said that in 6 months to a year we will have relations with at least a few countries, adding: “We are talking about a rapid negotiation process.”
He added that the UAE will develop relations with Ethiopia, Indonesia, Israel and Kenya.
It was last August that Tahnoon bin Zayed, the UAE national security adviser, went to Turkey and met with Erdogan to develop relations between the two countries. It was later announced that the UAE intends to invest in Turkey.
