The Tunisians called for the illegalisation of normalization of relations with Israel.
After Iraq, the Tunisians also called for the legalization of government efforts to normalize relations with the Zionist regime.
The Tunisian National Bar Association, while condemning Tel Aviv’s daily aggression against the Palestinian people, called on their country’s authorities to criminalize the normalization of relations with the Zionist regime through a clear and transparent law.
According to the Al-Mayadin news network, the Tunisian institution said in a statement: “The Bar Association reiterates its firm position to reject all forms and methods of normalization with the Zionist enemy and calls on the authorities to criminalize this process through explicit legal means.” ».
The Tunisian Bar Association added: “We have seriously pursued the daily aggressions and attacks of the Zionist regime against the children of the Palestinian Arab nation and we are witnessing their continuation.”
“These attacks and aggressions are carried out with unprecedented and utter ignorance and are a violation of all international values,” the statement said. “The aggressions are accompanied by an embarrassing Arab and Islamic silence.”
In the statement, Tunisian lawyers rejected the West’s dual stance in support of the rights of nations, saying that the Zionist regime’s continued attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque had increased tensions in occupied Palestine and provoked the emotions of the entire Arab world and Muslims around the world.
Meanwhile, Muqtada al-Sadr, the leader of the Sadr faction in Iraq, announced in a Twitter message two days ago (Saturday) that his faction, along with its political allies in Iraq, would soon submit to parliament a criminalization of normalization and engagement with the Zionist regime.
